Worst morning yet, with very few birds over. Singles and 2-3 small parties of Redwing, 3-4 flocks of Fieldfare and 2-3 parties of Greenfinch, that was it!! 11 Pink feet to NE.
Looks like thats it until this unusually mild weather over the whole of Scandinavia moves away and the normal severe cold forces more birds to move here.

A bit colder over in Scandanavia so thought i would have another session to see if any thrush movement. Quite a few Redwing from 1st light, and even more Fieldfare for the 1st 2hrs then dead again c9am. Single drake Shoveler South towards Res c8am prob landed on water. Very few other birds except Chaffinch.

Surprised you did not note any Woodpigeon as there seems to be high numbers moving. Was looking forward to going out this morning but thick fog here most of the day.

No, not a pigeon to be seen! Quite foggy up there to start with but lifted to mist and sunshine after an hour. Doesn`t seem to be a good Woody passage route up there as ive not seen many all autumn.
