plenty of carrion crows and magpies, more black head gulls

2 large gulls soaring over ogden, 1 large gull flying north

No woodpigeons

2 cormorants roosting in the tree,  stones underneath are very white

about 40 canada geese

8 lapwing

11 teal, 10 flew off

0 mallard on holden wood but 2 flew north over holden wood at end of trip

1 wren

1 kestrel

ALSO

200 starlings approx around brookside nurseries today 10.30am

 and about 80 around memorial gardens haslingden  11.30am  and 2 herring gulls passing south
