11 meadow pipits min

12 mallards flew away northish, 4 on water, 16 flying north later on

1 kestrel

200 plus gulls of which around half were common gulls, other half black headed...............in fields around res and some in field across grane road - plenty to eat i suppose

plenty of carrion crows, magpies and some woodpigeons....

1 raven.....maybe 2.............1 came to feed in field but then mobbed by crows and possibly gulls..........i think it spooked them too as they kept rising up as if a predator around........there is a large nest in tree opposite holden wood antiques and the ravens spent some time there......they are becoming more used to man now as i have never seen them in the fields as much as i am doing nowadays.....

1 heron on way out also feeding in field

2 cormorants at the start of my visit, 7 in flock together flying around res towards end, and 2 at end roosting...........the 7 did not roost

2 goosander flying up north  - 3rd time a pair have flown up that at sunset

1 pied wagtail

3 unidentified starling ish sized birds - may have been redwings

3 great tits

and a surprise was a GREY WAGTAIL............
