• green woodpecker heard yaffling at 2 sites, but prbably the same bird

• 4 nuthatch at 3 different sites, very encouraging for a species that only bred for the first time in Staghills Woods last year

1 male goosander and 1 singing dipper

Holmes Terrace Lodge/ The Holme

• 1 grey heron
• 55 mallard on lodge (54 also on the river at Tesco)
• 1 male goosander over (possibly the same bird that was at Fallbarn)
• 3 black headed gull
• 49 wood pigeon
• 1treecreeper
• 2 dunnock
• 8 blue tit
• 8 great tit
• 1 coal tit
• 12 long tailed tit
