In Memorial Gardens in Haslingden with my son todaywhen I heard a rather distinct call in a conifer and something moved to the other side of the trunk.  I waited and within a couple of minutes a small bird flew across to the next tree and scuttled up the trunk.  A Treecreeper!  Have never heard one here before.  Good start to a Monday indeed.
