I was asked by a neighbour today, who was renovating there kitchen, if I could help move a Bat which was about to be painted.

It was roosting behind a removed cupboard, I managed to move it into a shoebox which I opened at dusk and it flew away none the worst for its adventure.

For anyone who has never seen a Common Pipistrelle at close quarters they are amazingly small.
