Not much doing on the tops, just a pair of curlew and a solitary skylark.

There were plenty of corvids and men planting trees but not a trace of anything red.

Lower down on the meadow land there was a flock of 100 starling, 20 fieldfare and small parties of finches including goldfinch and linnet.
