Got there 10.20am - loads of birdwatchers all over - raptor watchpoints set up - people had seen buzzard, kestrel, sparrowhawk, peregrine, goshawk - - saw all but the latter!

usual curlew, pheasants, lapwing, lesser black-backed gulls, siskin, goldfinch, crows, magpies, oystercatchers , meadow pipits, dipper, grey wagtails, mallard,   

 

and 4 crossbill!

Nice place, have not been for a few years. I did manage Goshawk but no Harriers.

Bet you saw more than at Fairfield Hospital on Thursday.....
