Irwell - Townsend Fold to Strongsty April 14th am

Swallow - 8 south, 15 north, 4 north at different times - not sure how many would be the same birds. I may be the last person in Rossendale to say "my first of the year"

Sand Martin - 1 Strongsty

Willow warbler - at least 8 different singing birds

(also a few blackcaps, chiffchaffs, 1 stock dove and 1 green woodpecker nr sewage works)
