Heron, 1 in the Irwell,

Canada Goose, Pair on the Irwell & 3 nearby,

Mallard, c12

Goosander, male flew down the valley,

Kestrel, 3 singles hunting,

Red Grouse, 2 singles on the tops; one chasing a carrion Crow,

Pheasant, 2 calling,

Dunlin, 3 possibly 4 pairs on the tops; one pair in display flight and the first time I've seen this.

Golden Plover, 4 on the tops didn't look paired up,

Lapwing, 1 single on pasture,

Oystercatcher, 1 on EBSW,

Curlew, c3 pairs,

B.H.Gull, 2/3 on pasture,

L.B.B.Gull, c12 over,

Stock Dove, c4 pairs,

Collared Dove, 2,

Wood Pigeon, c20 inc flock of 7,

Little Owl, 1 valley top,

Swift, 1 over moors,

Green Woodpecker, 1 yaffled near Ravenshore,

G.S.Woodpecker, 1,

Skylark, c30 many singing,
