Blue, Great, and Coal tits all doing well

Long tailed tits only one family party seen

Chaffinch better numbers than normal

Bullfinch good numbers with young

Goldfinch and Greenfinch odd ones

Redpoll one pair

Robin and Wren are plentyful with young

Nuthatch excellent numbers, four young fledged from nest box

Treecreeper  appear to have bred well

Willow warbler  good numbers

Chiffchaff   one individual

Garden warbler  pair carrying food

Blackcap   at least three faily parties

Spotted flycatcher   two sperate birds one singing

House Sparow  small family party in two locations

Dunnock 2/3 pair

Blackbird  doing well

Mistle thrush  only one seen

Song thrush  one pair feeding young

Great Spotted Woodpecker  good numbers with young

Pied Wagtail  one pair feeding young

Swift, Swallow and Hous martins over in small numbers

Sand Martin  four nests in river bank

Jay  only one bird seen

Jackdaw  pair in chimney feeding young

Wood pigeon  plenty

Curlew  family party of four flying over

Collard dove  two pair

Magpie  one pair

Sparrowhawk  one over

River has been in flood for a couple of days, Dipper and Grey wagtail have moved up the streams both have young. Four young Goosanders and Mallards in the wet fields.

No Kingfishers, checked the lodges and found two juveniles on Springmill, this is in GMC.
