Would anyone be interested in carrying out the monthly Wildfowl Counts at the Grane Reservoirs?

 

Up until about 12 months ago I carried these out and logged the counts on the BTO Suveys site.  I know several of you post sightings from Grane from time to time (Sarfraz, David Nuttall, Neil Burke etc) and I wondered if one of you would be able to formalise your visits and report on the wildfowl?  

 

It involves one visit per month on a designated weekend (usually nearest to the spring tide date) and takes a couple of hours.  Reporting on the BTO site is very straightforward, but if preferred the results can be returned on paper forms.

Hi Jim/Kevin/Brian

Been away myself too. I have no problems in doing it myself but the others are definitely more experienced so rightly should be considered first. I have no issue in doing it though or sharing the workload even.
