Forgot to add Kestrel present regularly on A56 between Haslingden and Bury, before dual carriageway over Irwell most of the spring and early summer.

A Mistle Thrush feeding a single youngster in Memorial Gardens, H'den on Frriday morning. They may have bred there as they were present late winter and early spring but not seen over last 1-2 months.

Woodpigeon with juvenile in Memorial Gardens today.

Many Swifts around still, some appear to be nesting on my street and on Manchester Road. They fly roof level and below regularly, screaming, entering under the gutters. Appears to be usual numbers - upto 30 present easily at times in the air. Appears to be less House Martins though.
