Mallard, 13 on Holden Wood Res,

Teal, 9 on Holden Wood Res flew off west up Grane,

Kestrel, 3 in Musbury, 4 in Grane,

Sparrowhawk, female over Holden Wood towards Helmshore,

Buzzard, first bird of the morning which flew up grane and then south towards Holcombe. A second bird was being mobbed by a crow in Musbury.

B.H.Gull, c8 in Grane,

Wood Pigeon, c30 in small flocks,

Green Woodpecker, 1 yaffling at Holden Wood,

G.S.Woodpecker, 1 over Hog Lowe Pike was followed by another 2 minutes later!

Skylark, 1 at Holden Wood and 2 in Musbury, all calling,

Swallow, c20 feeding on Ogden and c12 south by Hog Lowe Pike,

Meadow Pipit, c40 in Grane and c50 south by Hog Lowe Pike,

Pied wagtail, c12 in Grane,

Grey Wagtail, c4 in Grane,

Wheatear, 2 juvs in Musbury,

Stonechat, pair with Wheatears in Musbury,

Redwing, flew out of Fairy Glen and east down Grane,

Mistle Thrush, 3 in Grane, flock of 6 in Musbury,

Chiffchaff, 2 with tit flock in Musbury,

L.T.Tit, two flocks c20 birds in each,

Coal Tit, 2/3 calling at Calf Hey,

Goldcrest, 3 at Calf Hey,

Raven, pair in sycamore near Calf Hey. One "gronked" and tumbled whilst flying into trees near the dam at Calf Hey. Unusual to see in trees for me.

Greenfinch, c6,

Goldfinch, flock of 20 flew south into Grane near Hog Lowe Pike,

Chaffinch, c12,

Redpoll, calling at Calf Hey,

Siskin, heard calling at Calf Hey 3 times,

Reed Bunting, 1 calling near Ogden.
