• teal - 7 flew from Ogden to Calf Hey
• black headed gull - 8 over Holden Wood, c20 on Ogden and 4 on Calf Hey
• herring gull - 1 south over Hutch Bank
• kestrel - 1 at holden Wood and 1 or 2 at Calf hey
• lapwing - 1 at Ogden
• snipe - 11 on Haslingden Moor
• meadow pipit - 1 at holden Wood, 1 at Ogden, flock of 18 and a single on Haslingden Moor and a flock of 14 near Heap Clough
• pied wagtail - 2 at Holden Wood, 2 at Ogden and 15 at hutch Bank
• grey wagtail - 1 at calf Hey
• green woodpecker - 1 at Holden Wood and 1 at Calf Hey
• great spotted woodpecker - seen 3 times at calf Hey, possibly same bird
• woodpigeon - only 5
• dunnock - 1 at Holden Wood and 3 at Calf Hey
• wren - 1 at Holden Wood, 1 at Ogden and 5 at Calf Hey
• robin - 3 at Holden Wood, 1 at Ogden, 11 at Calf Hey and 1 at Clough Head
• stonechat - 1 pr in the felled trees below the dam wall at Calf Hey
• blackbird - 5 at Calf Hey
• song thrush - 1 at Calf Hey
• redwing - 10 at Clough Head
• mistle thrush - 9 in the field above Troy Quarry
• starling - 8 over Holden Wood
• coal tit - 3 at Calf Hey and 3 at Clough Head
• blue tit - just 1 at Calf Hey
• great tit - 1 at Calf hey and 1 at Clough Head
• goldcrest - 8 at Calf Hey
• magpie - 6 around the reservoirs, 1 on Haslingden moor and 6 at Hutch Bank#
• carrion crow 10 around the reservoirs
• raven - 2 over the Scrubber
• chaffinch - just singles at holden wood, Calf Hey and Clough Head
• goldfinch - 5 at Wolden Wood
• redpoll - heard at Holden Wood
• siskin - several heard at Calf Hey
• linnet - 1 heard near Hutch Bank
• reed bunting - 1 heard at Holden Wood and 1 heard at Ogden
