Wish I could match you with a garden in The Glen, Steve, no Long tailed tit, no Greenfinch, no Starling and I've never seen a Brambling in the garden, suppose there's time yet.! Are there a lot about.?

Hi Tony

The Brambling is an irregular visitor to the garden. The thing I am wondering is what are the food supplies like in Scandanavian countries as this is very early for a garden visit, as normally if they do visit it's in the new year months.

I am already noting loads of Blackbirds, Chaffinch and Greenfinch so I do wonder what the winter will hold......

Siskins will be following shortly!

Hi Ste/Tony,

Nice to see an early Brambling, none here in Strongstry yet, but lots of Blackbirds, several Redpoll. There is a distinct lack of Greenfinch down here, good numbers of Goldfinch, Bullfinch and Chaffinch and unusual for here two Goldcrest.
