Holden Wood:-

Dunnock, Pied wagtail, Mistle Thrush, Great Spotted Woodpecker, House Sparrows on the path to the reservoir.

On the res:-  1 Grey Heron, plenty of BH Gulls, Cormorant in roost tree, male Kestrel

 

Musbury:- 

2 Ravens over - wonder if the same birds Neil saw?   4 Meadow Pipits disturbed by hundreds of people doing an orienteering thing!  

Mistle Thrush in trees up old railway line

Hoglow Pike:-

at least 6 Meadow Pipits

Golden Plover heard but not seen

 

Fairy Glen:-

usual Tits and a Wren

 

Calf Hey:-

B H Gulls

 

Ogden:-

4 Cormorants which flew off

2 Grey wagtails possible 3

1 Pied Wagtail

2 Stonechat - pair

1 Dipper

few Meadow Pipits

2 Mistle thrush seen flying from Holden Wood side

Wren in ferns

B H Gulls

Holden Wood:-

Meadow Pipits in rushes

3 Cormorants on water

BH Gulls 

 

Carrion Crows, Magpies seen in various places.  Woodpigeons, Blackbirds not seen.
