Visited for the first time day.  Heard much about it but quite disappointed when i visited.  Did not expect to get any ticks but went for the Harrier roost.

Before entering the reception saw plenty of Tree Sparrows on the feeders, always a welcome sight!  Walked to the Ouse Fleet hide and stopped at the 2 hides on the way there - very few birds around!  A few Teal, Mallard, Cormorant, Moorhens, Little Grebes, Mute Swans and Marsh Harriers.  Managed to see a lone Brent Goose flying over.  Small numbers of Thrushes, chaffinches, goldfinches, starlings, the corvids andmany woodpigeons.   Not to forget a few  Goldcrests around.

BOP - Marsh Harriers, Kestrel, Sparrohawk and towards the end a ringtail Hen harrier and a Barn Owl.  Not sure if I would visit again.  I did not see more than 5 harriers in the air together and as they moved around quite a bit it was hard to  say how many there were exactly.  It was hard to guage how many roosted as some appeared to go back in the air again.
