gull passage over north - over 20 mainly GBB's with some probably Herring
Ogden:-
11 mallard,
2-3 meadow pipit on sides
black-headed gulls
long-tailed tit flock in trees
Holden Wood :-
8 cormorants to roost
1 goosander drake which then flew up the res and possibly onwards
black-headed gulls in much lower numbers
singing wren
singing mistle thrush
singing robin
a few blackbirds and chaffinches, plenty of crows, some magpies, 2-3 woodpigeons
28 meadow pipits coming from easterly direction , flying over holden wood reservoir towards the farm
8 wrens seen all singles - at top end of holden wood, in rushes having left the reservoir behind you, one on tops, half way down the slope to calf hey, rushes between oogden and holden wood, one at point where holden wood widens, then one across in trees singing./.........the 8th may have been a double count!
