Just wanted to ask when is the Black Grouse trip and  what times do we need to set off and  will head back from there?  I am interested in it.  What is the area known as?

I was also wondering if the club wants to add any other trips:-

1.  a trip to Richmond Bank in Cheshire where all the rare girls can turn up all at once  - gulls from the south and east ie yellow-legged and caspian alongside the ones from the north and west glaucous and iceland.   Tip open Monday to Saturday.

2.  a trip to a Gull roost ie Fishmoor Res.  Will have to visit last hour before duskk?

3.  Wirral high tide trip....they appear to get all the birds turn up there...not sure high tide dates yet. 

4.  a Forest of Bowland trip  late winter/early spring to see displaying raptors? 

5.  Trip to Moore nature reserve in Cheshire to see Lesser Spotted Woodpecker ?  this would be when they start drumming and before the greeney takes over again!

6.  Trips to various areas on the Fylde Coast.

Does any one else have any ideas for trips if an y club members  are interested in going?
