Cormorant, 14 on Ogden & 1 on Holden Wood, included one white headed/ necked individual,

Grey Heron, 1 on Holden Wood,

Canada Goose, 30 on pasture at Holden Wood & a pair each on Ogden & Calf Hey,

Teal, could only pick out a single male on the bank of Calf Hey,

Mallard, 4 on Calf Hey,

Goldeneye, female on Calf Hey,

Goosander, pair on Holden Wood,

Lapwing, c10 on Holden Wood,

Golden Plover, a flock of 5 on Haslingden Moor,

G.B.B.Gull, 2 adults on Holden Wood flew onto Ogden,

B.H.Gull, c20 on Holden Wood,

Wood Pigeon, c50 including flocks of 25 and 12 near Duke of Wellington,

Stock Dove, 1 in Jamestone Quarry,

G.S.Woodpecker, 2 at the bottom of Heap Clough and 1 at Calf Hey,

Dunnock, c3 in song,

Fieldfare, 2,

Coal Tit, c12 mainly in song,

L.T.Tit, 2 in Heap Clough,

Great Tit, 6 on feeders at Clough Head plus c20 elsewhere,

Treecreeper, 1 at Calf Hey,

Redpoll, 2 on feeders at bottom of Heap Clough,

Siskin, 5 on feeders and many singles calling in flight,

Goldfinch, c6,

Greenfinch, 2,

Chaffinch, c12 with many in song,

Bullfinch, 3 small groups,
