Flushed from the rushy field by the river between the bypass and Ewood Bridge - headed (roughly) towards the sewage works but not relocated. A very pleasant surprise at 10.30 in the morning.
Waxwing postscript - at least 8 birds still at Groundwork 3.00 pm. Seemed quite settled and still lots of berries to munch on so hopefully they will hang around. Seems like a good spot for the photographers (?)
