14 Waxwings near the Cobblers in Rawtenstall - in trees on the track behind the signal box which leads back to the railway station. seen at 12:45 hrs but not there 1hr later.
Also - 1 Dipper, 1 G.S.W. at Groundwork + c12 Goldfinch and c6 Siskin - males in song.
Flock of c16 Meadow Pipits at Reedsholme and 1 Mistle Thrush in song + 1 Cormorant flew down the valley.
