A single flock of 26 calling Skylarks dropped out of the snowy sky into a rushy field in the "Folly" then left shortly afterwards to the south.
Presumably moving to lower ground because of the bad weather.

Blizzard conditions and 6ft snow drifts had lots of birds visiting our feeding area today.
3 Fieldfare!!, 7 Redwing, 9 Blackbird, 3 G S Woody, 2 Crow, 3 Rook, 2 Jay, 4 Reed Bunting, 5 Siskin, 2 Brambling, 5-6 Chaffinch, 2 Greenfinch, 2 Nuthatch, 1 Treecreeper, 1 Goldcrest, 6 Wood Pigeon, 6+ L T Tit, 3 Coal tit, lots of Great and Blue tits obviously all struggling to find food.
Brilliant forecast for this week aswell !!
