Nest boxes.

Over the weekend I have been round all my nest boxes and have found very little activity at any of them, one had Blue Tits in and out and one open fronted box was visited by a Robin.

Last autumn I put up two Tawny Owl boxes, yesterday evening I watched one but no activity, this evening I watched the other, and just after sunset out popped a Tawny, it sat on the branch attached to the box and preened before flying of to hunt, must admit I was rather pleased.

Hi Brian

How is it going with the Tawny Owl nest box,is the Tawny still showing interest with the nest box ?

Hi Craggy,

I think they are on eggs, which is quite late, so I will keep my distance until they have hatched and then I will see what happens.
