stunning ..i had never realise that the dippers eyes were a warm brown.....and the breast is almost amber coloured

Hi Dennis

Superb photo as usual.  Glad you found the bird.  This is the male from the pair.  It's quite distinctive with it's white patch on the head.

Thanks Kevin for the info,i just thought it would be polite to post a pic,i am still going to watch them as I think they are great bird to watch,hard to photograph due to the constant bobbing and a white chest.
