3.30-5.30pm Tuesday

Song Thrush, Blackbird and Long-tailed Tits singing and calling around the information centre.

On Haslingden Moor - 4-5 Skylark, plenty of Meadow Pipits many displaying still.   I heard a Golden Plover, 3-4 Curlew.   A male Kestrel.   A Lapwing in the Deep Clough area.  A Common Sandpiper heard from the Quarry.  2-3 Oystercatchers.

5 Raven or 10 Ravens.  5 appeared from the Hutch Bank area ish and flew over to Calf Hey over the Deep clough area to my south but then 30-40 minutes later another 5 appeared not exactly from the Hutch Bank area but possibly at least north of it and then flew over the moor to my north side to Calf Hey area.   I have no idea if they were the same birds which may have done a circuit without me realising or had parties of Ravens discovered something in that direction and were heading over to it?
