  • great crested grebe - 2 on Calf Hey
  • grey heron - 1 at Ogden
  • cormorant - 1 on Ogden
  • Canada goose - 78 on Ogden & 3 on Calf Hey
  • lapwing - 41 on Calf Hey
  • mallard - 65 on Holden Wood
  • teal - 4 on Calf Hey
  • lesser black backed gull - 1 caught and ate a fish at Ogden
  • black headfed gull - 105 on Ogden & 5 on Calf Hey
  • kestrel - 3 hunting the hillside
  • meadow pipit - 11 at Holden Wood
  • pied wagtail - min 15 at Holden Wood & 3 at Calf Hey
  • whinchat - 1 in the bracken on the south side of the dam wall at Ogden
  • linnet - flocks of 3, 4, 9, 11 & 20 at Holden Wood
  • goldfinch c20 at Holden Wood
  • reed bunting - 5 at Holden Wood

I didn't get a great view of it, but could clearly make out the eyestripe.  I did think the one I saw was possibly a juvenile though.
