Kestrel, 2 on Bull Hill & 1 in Alden Valley,

Pheasant, 1 on lower slopes of Bull Hill & 2 in Alden Valley,

Lapwing, 6 near the top of Bull Hill with the 3 seen well all 1st winter birds,

Jack Snipe, almost stood on one whilst crossing Wet Moss,

Golden Plover, flocks of 6 & 7 on Wet Moss,

G.S.Woodpecker, 1 in Alden Valley,

Skylark, 1 called on Wet Moss,

Meadow Pipit, c6 west or south over,

Pied Wagtail, c6,

Grey Wagtail, 1 near Sunnybank,

Ring Ousel, male & female at the top of Alden. Male was preening in a Rowan tree for ten minutes before being joined by female.

Fieldfare, c800 through in flocks to 150 all heading west or south,

Redwing, c100 through in small flocks or mixed with Fieldfare,

Starling, c200 in flocks to c80 or mixed in with Fieldfare,

Raven, 1 over Bull Hill,

Jackdaw, c200 in sheep pasture adjacent Holcombe Road,

Carrion Crow, c80 with Jackdaw,

Rook, c10 on pasture near Buckden Clough,

Goldfinch, Greenfinch & Chaffinch all in small numbers.
