on Brian's feeders....pair of Bullfinches, goldfinches, blue tits, blackbird, jackdaw in 5 minutes....

Holden Wood and tops above;-

40-50 Mallard,

approx. 30 Teal

1 Goldeneye female

2 cormorants  on water which flew off must have landed at ogden

plenty of Canada geese

1 pied wagtail

4 meadow pipit

2 wren

min of 10 fieldfare flying over east

2 stonechat on path above res on way to ogden

just under 150 lapwing later on , on way back

usual black headed gulls, carrion crows, magpies, jackdaws,

on the tops - 1 wren,

2 cormorants including beautiful white fronted one in roost

Ogden - 2 cormorants,  1 great black-backed gull

I have set up 2-3 coconut feeders where the trees meet the wall at top end of res,   on the dead tree trunks I have put seed,  crushed  mealworm mix,   .....within 30-45 minuets it was covered with magpies and some crows....I was hoping for a yellow-browed warbler, firecrest or lesser spotted woodpecker to appear in a mix tit flock....or even a hawfinch....
