kestrel - 1 hunting the hillside at Warth and 1 hunting the hillside over Cowpe village
peregrine - 1 over Cowpe Lowe towards Rawtenstall
golden plover - 8 on Cowpe Lowe
herring gull - flocks of 14, 7, 8, 12, 50, 70, 6, 7, 5 & 2 moving in all directions
lesser black backed gull - 1 flying towards Cowpe and 1 flying towards Clowbridge
great black backed gull - 1 flying west and 1 flying towards Cowpe
little owl - 1 on Whittaker Pasture
meadow pipit - 1 at Hurdles Quarry
grey wagtail - 2 at Warth
redwing - 5 at Warth
fieldfare - 12 at Warth & 16 over Hurdlers Quarry
mistle thrush - 2 at Warth (1 singing)
blackbird - 7 at Warth
robin - 12 at Warth
blue tit - 12 at warth
great tit - 8 at warth
long tailed tit - 1 at warth
wren - 6 at warth
dunnock - 2 at Warth
carrion crow - 4 at Warth & 6 on Cowpe Lowe
jackdaw - 100 at Warth
jay - 2 at warth
magpie - 5 at Warth
chaffinch - 15 at Warth
brambling - at least 1 at Warth
