• sky lark - 2 near Whitworth Quarry
• grey wagtail - 1 at Lee Mill
• pied wagtail - 1 at Lee Quarry
• starling - c130 on Deansgreave Road New Line
• fieldfare - c40 on Deansgreave Road New Line
• greenfinch - flock of 12 and at least 2 other calling birds on the quarry road at Lee Quarry

• sparrowhawk at our feeding station at Gaghills today.  2 piles of feathers suggest 2 recent attacks were successful
• bramblings still coming to our feeders at Gaghills
• pied wagtail - male singing near usual nest site in Waterfoot
• cormorant - 5 birds flew low over rooftops in Waterfoot and up Cowpe Valley on Wednesday
