18:00-19:30

Canada Goose, 2 pairs in quarries,

Mallard, 3 at Troy,

Curlew, pair in display,

Lapwing, pair towards Hutch Bank,

Snipe, "chipping" bird on wet ground above Deep Clough,

L.B.B.Gull, c25 through north / west,

Skylark, c15, many in song especially when the sun came out!

Swallow, c6 around Troy,

Meadow Pipit, c20, many in song,

Pied Wagtail, pair,

Wheatear, at lest 9 and possibly 12,

Willow Warbler, 2 singing birds in Heap Clough,

Coal Tit, 1 singing bird,

Chaffinch, 2 singing birds in Heap Clough.
