3-4 singing male reed Buntings

3-4 coot..one still on nest

2 mallards paired up,   a min of  6 excess drakes...one appearing to come into eclipse

1 mallard with 2 young...too small to be the young from a couple of weeks back

2-3 willow warbler and 1 blackcap in song.......willow warblers appeared to have quietened down

whitethroat not there

meadow pipits min 10.....some displaying

2-4 lapwing..field looks empty.......all fledged or failed to breed?   2 appeared very agitated

family of 4 carrion crows...3 young....sat in field looking very cute.....will soon be natural villains

2 oystercatchers

a few swallows and martins

1 pied wagtail

2 linnet

sounds of fledged tits in hedge

canada geese in good numbers

large flocks of gulls heading north..back headed and lesser black backs

1 probable great black back

not many birds in song at all
