Another lovely evening stroll

Birds seen

Skylark 8 all high up singing but one seen sat on post with large green caterpillar in beak

Magpie 30+ in groups of 4 and 6

Carrion Crow 15

Swallow 8

Swift 2

Blue tit 5 fledglings

Blackbird 6

no Bullfinch where I always see them

Lovely framing, POV and composition there also with a great sense of scale! The branches of the tree feel like a natural curtain to me - pull them apart and you enter another world!

This light is stunning for photography. At times it can be easy to get lost in a Skylark's song on a nice day - as it rises I feel I almost go with it, up and up.
