Shelduck, 23 circled the res for 20 minutes before finally heading off south east for their trip over the channel,

Kestrel, 3 hunting the hillsides,

Moorhen, 1 on the res,

Curlew, 1 or 2 calling from the moors and 1 over the res,

B.H.Gull, 2 on the res,

L.B.B.Gull, c40 over west in small groups,

Swift, c10 over the hills,

Swallow, c12 including a family party perched on a bush at the edge of the res,

Meadow Pipit, c20,

Pied Wagtail, flock of 4 over the res,

Willow Warbler, 2 singing in the car park,

House Sparrow, 8 in the car park,

Reed Bunting, 2 singing birds.
