Clowbridge, 07:30-10:00 with Archie.

Canada Goose, family of 5,

Mallard, female with duckling plus 12 further adults,

Coot, pair in south bay,

Moorhen, pair with 1 chick in north bay & pair with 1 chick in south bay,

Common Sandpiper, 1,

B.H.Gull, c6 on res,

L.B.B.Gull, c20 over east / south east,

Herring Gull, 1 over south east,

Little Owl, 1 in its hole!

Swift, c12 through south.

Skylark, 2 called from fields adjacent to res,

Swallow, c20,

House Martin, c6,

Meadow Pipit, c40 especially along far bank,

Pied Wagtail, 2 family parties,

Willow Warbler, c4,

Coal Tit, 1 at point wood,

Starling, 2 small flocks over,

House Sparrow, c6,

Redpoll, single birds over several times singing,

Linnet, single birds over several times singing plus male perched on fence,

Goldfinch, c12,

Greenfinch, c6,

Chaffinch, c6,

Reed Bunting, 2 on res bank plus singing bird behind boat house.

 

Clough Bottom Res, 16:00-17:00

Canada Goose, 21 on res,

Mallard, female with 8 ducklings plus 4 adults,

Kestrel, 1 hunting moorland,

L.B.B.Gull, 297 either soaring over the res, bathing on res or on res banking,

Herring Gull, 3 with the L.B.B.Gulls,

Stock, Dove, 1 over,

Swift, c6 over south,

Swallow, c12,

Pied Wagtail, c6,

Meadow Pipit, c12,

Coal Tit, 1,

Reed Bunting, 2.
