10:00am start

very poor for passerines this morning odd swallow, meadow pipit, p.wagtail & willow warbler.

Pr Coot

1 Tufted Duck

1 Cormorant

1 Reed Bunting

1 Kestrel

1 Sparrowhawk

3 Wheatear + 1 Whinchat nr Compstons Cross

Greenfold area -

c20 flock of Meadow Pipit

Flock of 30 Lapwing in field

5 Wheatear + 1 Whinchat

c20 + 60+ flock of Starlings feeding in horse paddocks.

12+ Wood Pigeon in fields

c8 Swallows around horse paddocks

c6 House Sparrows along Gib Hill lane

1 Kestrel at Folly Clough

c15 Pied Wagtail at Bonfire Hill

1 Buzzard hunting over Cribden with Kestrel in attendance.

Bob - with AY as far as Greenfold.

Little else to add, Bob, but for 29 pied wags around the dam earlier, and on my way back to Waterfoot a wheatear on bonfire hill and flocks of 20+ meadow pipits Swinshaw Moor and c20 nr Seat Naze. Singing dipper Cloughfold and sand martins still active at Townsend Fold
