07:30-09:45

Cormorant, 4 fishing the res and then perched on a pylon,

Canada Goose, 7 (Archie),

Mallard, c20,

Teal, 2 on lagoon and 7 flew in from the north east, circled a couple of times and then flew off south west,

Kestrel, 2,

Moorhen, 2 on the lagoon,

B.H.Gull, c4,

Stock Dove, 2 on dry stone wall (Archie)

Green Woodpecker, 1 yaffled briefly near car park,

G.S.Woodpecker, 1 calling,

Skylark, 2 on way down from Compston's,

Meadow Pipit, c60 with c30 through in small groups up to 7 birds,

Pied Wagtail, c12 especially on res bank near boathouse,

Willow Warbler, 1 calling in car park,

Coal Tit, calling at top end,

Goldcrest, 1 calling in car park,

Raven, calling bird only,

Rook, 2 over north,

Reed Bunting, 2/3 off Limy Lane.

Hi Dave, I was up there from 08:00hrs so can add the following

2 Buzzard drifting S. 10:50 hrs

4 Kestrel in quarry - 3 singles seen earlier around res so could be same birds

1 Sparrowhawk

Chiffchaff calling from car park

Large mixed species flock along the side of the old plantation included Blue, Coal, Great Tit, Willow Warbler, Chiffchaff, Goldcrest, Spotted Flycatcher, Chaffinch, Reed Bunting, Redpoll, Wren - 30+ birds

1f Tufted duck on back pond

1 Green Woodpecker calling from plantation

1 Dipper in the overflow

Only 3 Swallows seen all morning.
