Cormorant, 2 on pylon and 1 later on res,

Grey Heron, 1 on res bank,

Wigeon, female in south bay,

Mallard, c12,

Buzzard, 1 over Nutshaw and 1 through south,

Sparrowhawk, 3 single females with 1 through south at Compston's,

Kestrel, c6,

Peregrine, juv over briefly hassled by a Kestrel until showing its talons!,

Pheasant, 1 calling,

Snipe, 1 on res bank,

B.H.Gull, c12 on res,

G.S.Woodpecker, 1 in car park and 1 at Compston's,

Skylark, steady trickle south most of the morning so perhaps 20 through,

Swallow, groups of 8 & 4 through,

House Martin, 3 in Crawshawbooth,

Meadow Pipit, c150 with many blogging birds,

Pied Wagtail, 1,

Wheatear, female on ruins at Gambleside,

Ring Ouzel, 1 flew calling from Nutshaw to a leafy tree at Gambleside but couldn't relocate it,

Mistle Thrush, 1,

Chiffchaff, c6 in willows at Compston's with 2 singing briefly,

L.T.Tit, c12 in willows at Compston's,

Coal Tit, c6,

Goldcrest, 2 in willows at Compston's,

Jay, 1 at Crawshawbooth,

Raven, pair over Hameldon,

Chaffinch, c50 through with a flock of 25 over Compston's,

Reed Bunting, c12 at Compston's.
