0930 start approx

1 Grey wagtail at Reedsholme

Folly Clough - 1 Nuthatch, 1 Kestrel, 1 Grey Wagtail, 1 Jay, 1 Skylark flew over.

Greenfold area - c110 Starling on wires, 5 Linnet, 1 Pied Wagtail, 2 Skylark overhead, c20 Meadow Pipit, 1 Kestrel, 3 Blue Tit,

Greenfold to Compstons Cross - c9 Meadow Pipit, 2 Skylark

Compstons Cross 10:45 - 12:00hrs-

Meadow Pipit - lots of small parties largest c20 100 counted all S. + others blogging.

1 Sparrowhawk on the hunt!

Reed Bunting 4 S. + others amongst plantings.

Chaffinch - 29 in small parties + flock of 27 over plantings which didn't come through, flock of 10 seen later amongst plantings.

Jackdaw - 7 with 3 Carrion Crow S.

Jay parties of 5+2 S.

1 Kestrel hunting

Swallow - 47 in 7 parties largest 24 S. - first I've seen for some time.

Pink footed Goose - skein of 30 flew in from NE then headed W at 11:15 hrs.

1 Mistle Thrush S.

1 Linnet S.

1 Rook S.

2 flocks of unidentified finches 8+3 too distant to say with any confidence but too small for chaffs.

Clowbridge res - 5 Cormorant, 5 Teal, 3 Tufted Duck, 1 Kestrel, 1 Sparrowhawk, 2 Reed Bunting, 5 Meadow Pipit, 4 BH Gull

2 Pied Wagtail along roadside + 2 Kestrel hunting Nutshaw Hill
