No sign of the Little Egret, G W still present.

 

Holden Wood:-

GW present till 1pm - it is no longer harassed by the Herons

 

about 20 cormorants

some Teal

some Mallard

kingfisher

something that sounded like a common sandpiper as well but none seen

1 grey heron

 

20 lapwing

juvenile herring gull on water

40 min b h gulls

coot has gone awol again

2 kestrel

few pied wagtails

2-3 grey wags

 

Musbury:-

3 kestrels

2 stonechat

30 min redwing flock

30 min starlings

2 song thrush in a tree - looked like migrants as they  moved on

2 large hawks in the distance.....looked too big to be sparrowhawks probably goshawks but quite far...not buzzards..

 

Ogden:-

 

great black backed gull

some cormorants

some mallard

1 juvenile herring gull

 

0ver 100 woodpigeons all in flocks of 30 or less....
