52 Mallard on old mill pond

Blue-Great and Coal Tit in some nice large mix groups

Goldcrest calling but not seen

Blackbird M/F in good numbers

1 Kestrel hunting along earnsdale reservoir dam embankment

3 Wren

4 Nuthatch but a lot more calling birds

Woodpigeons lots

Small stream that runs through the woods seen Kingfisher and dipper in the past but not this time

10 Magpie

2 Thrush

Small flock of Starlings

1 Red Admiral

Lots of Squirrels feeding on all the nuts

Photo of bird I think its a female Wheatear ?

Hi Russ,

It is a Wheatear. Worth putting that on the ELOC forum as most left, not all. Those woods look very green still. Must look great in autumn.

Yep the Oak and the Beech are holding out well

The Elm and Horse Chestnut Trees are looking more like autumn  is here
