• cormorant - 1 flying over Rawtenstall towards Shortclough or Clowbridge & 2 flying from EBSW towards Grane
• mallard - mc 70 at Rawtenstall, 28 at Holmes Terrace Lodge & 28 at EBSW & Irwell Vale
• goosander - 1 at Townsendfold & 1 at Irwell Vale (possibly the same bird) & 4 flying downstream at Alderbottom
• snipe - 32 at Edge Cote
• buzzard - singles at Warth, Edge Cote & EBSW
• kestrel - 1 at Groundwork & 1 at Ewood Bridge
• woodpigeon - 100 flying towards Warth from Seat Naze & c90 over Townsendfold to Horncliffe
• kingfisher 1 at Mill End & 1 at Irwell Vale
• meadow pipit - 14 at Seat Naze
• dipper - singing birds at Warth, Fallbarn (2) Groundwork & Irwell Vale
• redwing c275 in hawthorns near Hurdles Farm, 2 at Groundwork & 7 at Townsendfold
• raven - 2 at Seat Naze & 2 over Edenfield
• linnet - 3 at Edge Cote
• bullfinch - 3 at Marl Pits
