Scaup Drake in eclipse plumage on the res with 3 Tufted Duck to 1pm at least today. Been there since yesterday.
Buzzard, poss/prob of the Rough legged variety flew NW on the moor edge past the nearest wind turbines behind the Owd Betts pub, being aggressively attacked by 3 Crows. Very obvious white tail with black outer edge visible. Looked pale bodied aswell. Ran back to car to try and catch up with it nearer to Rossendale school area but could not relocate. Could be in Cheesden area or Plunge Valley and worth keeping an eye open for it.
