I had a call from a friend about a strange Duck on the Ogden at Snig hole, on arrival I found a male Wood Duck in good condition and relaxed.
This will be an escapee from a collection, but for anyone who has never seen this species it is worth a visit if it hangs round, it was in the large pool under the viaduct.
