Most of Harden Moor and 90% of lodges frozen.

Grey Heron, 1 over several times,

Pink Footed Goose, 2 over low before heading off west looked like they had just taken off AMR,

Mallard, 5 near the flash,

Teal, 28 on bottom lodge & 17 on top lodge,

Kestrel, 2 singles,

Peregrine / Gyr Falcon? escapee with jesses causing a commotion with local corvids,

Pheasant, 1 male,

Lapwing, 3 over west towards The Valley,

B.H.Gull, c100 mainly up the valley,

Common Gull, c40 on pasture,

Herring Gull, c400 over from Manchester plain towards Rawtenstall,

L.B.B.Gull, c100 over as Herrings,

G.B.B.Gull, c30 over as Herrings,

Stock Dove, 1 single,

Fieldfare, flock of 25 over valley,

Song Thrush, 1,

Coal Tit, 4,

Jay, 2,

Raven, 1 over Harden Moor calling,

Starling, c100 on pasture by Rossendale School,

House Sparrow, c6 at Salesis Farm,

Goldfinch, a charm of c90 near Deeply Vale,

Greenfinch, at least 18 with the Goldfinch,

Chaffinch, c6.
