quick walk up to Cowpe Reservoir early afternoon produced the following

• Canada goose - 2 prs at Lench Lodges & 1pr at Kearn's Lodge
• cormorant - 2 at Cowpe Res
• peregrine - 1 over Boarsgreave
• moorhen - sitting bird at Lench Lodges
• kingfisher - 1 at Lench Lodges
• common gull - 30 over Gaghills appeared to be all juvs
• dipper - 1 on Cowpe Brook
• jay - 1 pr at Lench
• bullfinch - calling birds at Lench
