Hi Bob

I can only add the following for EBSW

  • another buzzard
  • 2 grey wagtail
  • 1 great spotted woodpecker
  • 2 more willow warblers
  • 2 more blackcaps
  • 2 sand martin
  • 1 greenfinch near Stand Athletic, another 1 near Crow Woods and a pair near Hardsough Lane

The walk back to Rawtenstall produced the following

  • 2 male blackcaps by the riverside at Ewood Bridge, 1 male at K Steels, 1 female at The Holme and 3 males between Cribden House and the old college at Cow Lane
  • 1 willow warbler at Ewood Bridge
  • 1 chiffchaff at Groundwork and 1 singing near Cribden House
  • 5 sand martin near the bypass bridge, 1 hole excavated in the bank only a couple of feet above the river bank, so let's hope it doesn't rain heavily
  • 1 jay at Ewood Bridge

cheers Kevin
