Drizzle, poor visibility 14 degrees no wind, 0730/1000 hrs.
All the usual suspects, the following were of note.
Went to a usual Spot for Bullfinch and found a male and two juveniles, would normally expect more but conditions were dire.
Four pair of Lapwing with young in newly muck spread fields.
Two Curlews drifting over the same field.
Male Green Woodpeccker seen and heard, also only heard at least one young calling, possible nest site here as birds were calling here in the spring.
Unusually high numbers of Goldfinch and Chaffinch.
Regards Brian.
BEST REGARDS B A KIRKWOOD.
